Privacy
ClimaNook counts page views with its own server. There are no cookies, no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics on this site.
What we keep
For each page view we keep the page, the name of the site that sent you, your country as reported by our network provider, a coarse device type (phone, tablet or computer), whether you scrolled or clicked on the page and how long after the page loaded, a few signals that tell a program from a person (for example whether the browser reports that it is automated), a random number that your browser keeps for the open tab only and drops when you close it, and a one-way code that changes every day. Single page views are deleted after 14 days; only daily totals stay.
What we never keep
We never store your IP address. It is used only for a moment, together with the date and your browser name, to make the daily code, and it cannot be recovered from that code. The code changes every day, so visits on different days cannot be linked.
Links to stores
When you follow a "Check price" link we count the click with the same daily one-way code and the page you came from. That code is kept on the click record for 30 days and then emptied; the count stays. Requests our server refuses (for example from programs) are written to its log with a short one-way code that also changes every day, never an address. The store you arrive at has its own privacy policy.
